So, after we picked Aid up we headed to Oregon. We left the Boone's at 9:30am. By the time we got to Fife, we were all pretty hungry so we had a Brunch!! It was so yummy. Aidan didn't nap until late afternoon and after breakfast I zonked out. John drove. We got to Eugene around 3:30pm and headed straight to Macy's to buy the wedding gift. While we were waiting we ended up heading to the baby section to go shopping. I was able to a few things in a particular color.
So after we finished at Macy's we headed to our hotel that was about 10 minutes away. We got all checked in and in our room by 5:10pm. We needed to leave the room by 5:30pm. John and I both needed showers and to get changed and Aid needed a snack and to get changed. We were all ready to go by 5:25pm!! We left and headed to the wedding. John decided to head on a slight detour to go sightseeing of a neighborhood. Not exactly the way to the wedding but oh well. It was suppose to be only 5 minutes from our hotel. We made it though.
It was a beautiful wedding and everyone was so happy!! They were married on the 10th hole at the Eugene Country Club. We then headed inside to a lovely reception. John took Aidan over to a hotel that was 2 minutes away to play and have fun instead of trying to keep him on good behavior at the wedding. We headed headed back to the hotel after a detour to the grocery store for snacks for me. We all crashed and crashed hard. We woke up bright and early again and headed to my Grandpa's house for a very yummy breakfast. We always LOVE his breakfasts.
We then headed to get some of the best jerky ever and hit the road. Aid and I slept for about 3 hours and then we stopped for lunch. We left Eugene around noon and got to our house around 7pm. We had a few stops that took a bit longer and that's why the trip home took longer not to mention rush hour traffic. I was happy to be home and out of that darn car. I'll post pics next so enjoy them!! Hope you enjoyed our weekend. It was crazy but FUN!!!
