Nana & Aidan cleaning Papa's headstoneSo I since I am WAY behind on posting I didn't know where to start...I figured that I should start with my dad's 2nd anniversary. I can't believe its been 2 years already. It seems surreal that Dad has been gone that long. I feel as if I was walking through my parents garage and into the house with Aidan just yesterday to let the two of them play.

The hardest thing with having him gone is knowing that my kids won't know Papa and won't have the opportunity to grow up with their Papa in their lives like I did with my grandpa's (and grandma's too). It's hard being pregnant and knowing that my dad will never meet this baby, and vice versa. He won't be walking down the L/D (Labor & Delivery) hall with a HUGE smile on his face anxious to meet the latest member of the family or being able to see my dad cuddle with the new bundle.

It's hard every time I go down since I found out I was pregnant (was hard before too) because I can't help but ALWAYS think of this down there. We will make sure that baby knows Papa and knows what a wonderful man he was. Ok, onto the pictures....enjoy!! We love you Daddy and miss you more than you know!!
